Yesterday morning was a more believable March 19 than May 19. That snow has already melted, though, so that’s good. Things are perking along here, or they were last week when the weather was decent, anyway! We got more than an inch of precipitation this weekend, though, so I’m hoping we don’t get much more in the near future.

Snow on May 19, 2019.

But I’m happy to recognize the official one today.

Sign up today; eat well this summer.

It’s a rather grey day here at the farm, but warm — all the snow slid off our house roof yesterday and today. As you can see, we still have plenty of it. That silver blip in the foreground of the photo below is our well cap, which is normally about knee high.

Spring will arrive eventually, and we’ll sure be ready for it!

CarltonCoLocalFoodFairThe Carlton County Local Food Fair, that is.

Check it out tomorrow, Saturday, March 2, at Fond du Lac College in Cloquet.

Warm up & sign up!

It was 35 below at the farm this morning, but I’m thinking of warmer weather ahead and opening our 2019 CSA … sign up here!
